With our products, we wish to contribute to improving the work environment and thereby to enhancing quality of life. Our furniture is made in Wiesenfeld near Coburg, at our own production site with a high level of vertical integration, in collaboration with suppliers and partners largely based in our region. As a responsible medium-sized company, we consider it to be our duty to pay close attention to the origins of the materials we use. We prefer to use regional suppliers in order to reduce transport impact, thereby protecting the environment. To make our products, we process high-quality, durable and sustainable raw materials and we place an emphasis on replaceable components. Spare parts are usually available from LEUWICO for at least ten years.
By carefully selecting our materials, we not only reduce our consumption of raw materials but also extend the lifespan of our furniture. We therefore make every effort to integrate considerations of sustainability into even the development and design phases of a product. During our production process, we pay particular attention to waste optimisation, heat recovery and recycling. We entirely avoid the use of composite materials, meaning that we are able to separate all components for recycling.
We hope that our modest contribution will go some way towards making the world a place in which people are able to work better and live better.
We support social projects in various areas. LEUWICO offers wide-ranging help and support to enable people with disabilities or illnesses, as well as other disadvantaged groups within our society, to live well and with dignity.
As experts for height-adjustable desks and ergonomics, we have developed the H2 rapid adjustment, the quickest height adjustment for desks. With this innovation, our small firm of skilled craftspeople with approx. 130 employees achieved exceptional standing in the sector and set new standards.
We continue to achieve these standards day after day, whilst always looking ahead. Current trends, changes in the world of offices, new working modes and structures call for flexibility and ingenuity on our part, and for innovative products and tailor-made solutions. We place particular emphasis on the quality and the ergonomic features of our products.

Carl Leuthäusser founded his joinery business in Wiesenfeld, near Coburg, in 1923. Almost 100 years on, LEUWICO GmbH is a successful subsidiary company within the Vivonio Furniture Group. The development of our company speaks volumes: we have always been, and still remain, technological pioneers, constantly setting new standards for the perfect harmonisation of technology, design and ergonomics. In this way, we have achieved exceptional standing within our sector – not least as a result of the success of the LEUWICO H2 rapid adjustment.
We continue to remain true to our roots, and only make our products at our Wiesenfeld factory. Our Development and Sales teams and our company management are naturally based here as well.
